Design feedback
Reactions and change requests on design work, from a client's gut feeling about a homepage to a designer flagging that the build does not match the mockup.
Design feedback is broader than a bug report: it covers taste, brand, hierarchy, and intent. That makes it harder to act on, because "it does not feel right" is not a task. Good design feedback processes push reviewers toward specifics: which element, compared to what, and what outcome they expect.
In client work, design feedback typically arrives in rounds. The teams that keep rounds short share two habits: they collect feedback in one place instead of five channels, and they close each item explicitly so the same remark does not resurface in round three.
Because feedback shouldn’t be the hard part.
